Resumen
The present work, is a reflection about the relations between theater and cinema: adaptation, and work of actors. The author has taken different examples: The feature film "La mansión de Aaucaima" (Araucaima Mansion) directed by Carlos Mayolo based in a short novel written by colombian novelist Alvaro Mutis. The short story "Antigona", written by cult author Andrés Caicedo. In the present work, there's an adaptation as a script movie. Finally, there's a chornicle about the "mise en scène" of the monologue "Bathory: Una vigilia" by Sandro Romero Rey. Myra Patiño was the actress of this work. Romero Rey was a collaborator of Mayolo and Caicedo in their experiences. The common subject of those three exeriences is the Tropical Project and how an "european" genre could be adaptated in South America.
