Abstract

The image contains a news item about the Oficio of the Secretary of Finance of Cundinamarca on the asylum for beggars in which it is mentioned that there is no contract to collect or asylum beggars, since the one that existed expired some time ago; and even though this Office is inspired by the best wishes for the benefit of this measure of vital importance for society, the distressing fiscal situation of the Department does not allow to carry it out in the present year; but the Government, which sees the need to adopt measures in this matter of public charity, promises to satisfy the wishes of this Honorable Corporation next year, in compliance with Ordinances 41 and 57 of 1890, on the matter.
