Resumen
The objective of this document is to define the design and construction of an augmented reality application prototype for learning vocabulary of the English language oriented to basic education students of the Rodrigo Lara Bonilla District Educational Institute school, located in the town of Ciudad Bolívar in Bogota. Education and current life takes place in an increasingly bilingual context, learning the English language is specifically required to do research and develop technical and technological skills. For this reason, it is necessary to encourage and develop tools that allow solidifying the foundations of language learning for high school students of the city's public institutions. Investigating learning techniques and styles articulated with information technologies could help to encourage, make language learning more efficient and arouse the student's interest in the language.
