Propuesta de actualización de la Red Corporativa del Centro Radiológico Digital Américas C.R.A., incluyendo estudio de seguridad de la información con el Framework Nist

Abstract

The technological infrastructure in the organizations is of vital importance, for the digital transformation, the present proposal describes the phases of preparation, planning and design phases of Centro Radiológico Digital Américas CRA network, based on the Top Down methodology, which optimizes the services of diagnostic image servers; Server virtualization is proposed by implementing the VMware tool, which provides business continuity, simplifies management, saves hardware costs, improves service levels and strengthens data security and protection. In order to protect information throughout the organization, an information security study is proposed; which is based on the practical recommendations, offered by the COBIT and CSF NIST Frameworks; These Frameworks offer systematic methods for the diagnosis, analysis and implementation of information security, the adoption of these good practices, would improve the internal communication of the company and consolidate the processes of the different offices in Bogotá. The proposal also presents theoretical support and the necessary recommendations for the company to make the decision to launch these initiatives.
