Companies around the world are constantly facing new challenges in the development of their supply chains to overcome the changing pace of a globalized environment and stay ahead of the curve by meeting market requirements. Therefore, the objective of this study is to identify the status of research in the Supply Chain area carried out in thesis of the master and doctorate programs in Colombia in the last 10 years in the 12 best universities according to Webometrics 2018- II. The methodology consists of a research goal in which the active master and doctoral programs’ that are related to the Supply Chain and referenced in the SNIES (Sistema Nacional de Información de Educación Superior) databases are categorized, later to this, an inventory is built with the aforementioned national academic production and, finally, a diagnostic analysis focused on the SCOR and GSCF (Global Supply Chain Forum) models is carried out. In the results and conclusions, the thematic that are being analysed frequently in the collected academic production are exposed in addition to those that are not being addressed from the previously mentioned models. Finally, in the future works section, we present a series of proposals that may be adopted for future academic research.
