Resumen
Bogotá D.C., is one of the most vulnerable capital cities in Latin America due to the presence of seismic events associated with the geodynamics of the earth, especially due to the collision of the Nazca plates with the South American one. Numerous scientific studies that have studied the Romeral fault in particular, have classified the city as an intermediate seismic risk zone. Recent earthquakes in the Llanero foothills have shown the importance of seismic risk management appropriate to the needs of the capital city. If an earthquake of great magnitude were to occur, the consequences would be catastrophic in several locations in the city given the heterogeneity of the constructions and especially because of the diverse types of seismic structures on the city's land, especially because the earthquake-resistant standards are not met. This would have different consequences on the infrastructure, but the most serious would be the lives of the people who live in these sites in the event of the possible collapse of their sites. For this reason, in order to join the interest of the authorities in this investigation, emphasis is placed on the analysis of the structural components of the buildings present in the Chapinero and Bosa localities of the city of Bogotá. In addition to carrying out the analysis as a result of the research, a technological application is presented that is the greatest contribution of the investigation with which an integral diagnosis of the current structural conditions of each building can be carried out. This will allow the authorities to make adequate decisions, given that it allows them to analyze the spatial situation of the localities according to the variables identified, that is to say, construction materials, age of the property, and seismic risk zones according to the studies.
