Resumen
Contemporary dance in Colombia in the 1980s marks the emergence of several important figures for the consolidation of this artistic manifestation in the socio-political territory of the country; among them we note the active and crucial participation of Álvaro Restrepo, due to his management and interest in training and creation later reflected in many works at the Colegio del Cuerpo.Similarly, the group Triknia Kabelioz, led by Carlos Jaramillo and Sonia Rima, has a positive influence on a generation of dancers and choreographers who will be the present reference of that backbone of thought around dance. This movement linked together and generated more spaces on the national level for the production of contemporary dance works; Peter Palacio in the city of Medellín also listed new processes that align with the history of Dicas in the city of Bucaramanga, under the direction of Sonia Arias de Casadiego which also adds, in addition to creative results, a significant number of interpreter-creators.
