Abstract

The image contains news about a war between great leaders, where a message is sent from the city of Mompox to Granadine. The message mentions that a large amount of contributions made by ministers have been collected in the capital, which will be used to buy people. It is also reported that many people are being recruited and the troops are being disciplined through the use of terror, which is generating forced contributions. Although some ministers desire conciliation, those who are furious and only seek violence, persecution and extermination prevail. The policy of the Bogotá government is contrary to this position, since it tries to deal with each faction separately to divide them and thus triumph over them all.
