Resumen
The creative writing workshops subsidized by the district date back to 2008 where the National Network of Creative Writing Workshops proposed within the framework of the Plan for the Arts free workshops open to the public in order to encourage writing and the cultural industry. In 2013 the IDARTES District Arts Institute expanded this idea by creating the Network of Local Writing Workshops, so that there would be a workshop per locality in Bogotá. RELATA has proposed some foundations and bases for the realization of these workshops but since then there have not appeared documents that discuss these strategies. What will be discussed in the document is the possibility of incorporating the autobiographical genre into the formation of new writers within the framework of the district workshops. It is proposed a more literary and communicative, less therapeutic or historiographic view, in which the genre would function as an appropriate medium between the participants' individual experiences (memory, context, intersubjectivities) and the technical tools provided by the workshops (narrative techniques , Construction of characters, etc.) in order to encourage personal styles in creative writing.
