Abstract

This image contains news about an anonymous pamphlet that came to light, titled "The archbishop of Bogotá before the nation", several queries have been received from the faithful of the archdiocese about whether it was appropriate to read it without disturbing their conscience. Many believed that the pamphlet contained numerous falsehoods, diatribes, sarcasm and insults towards the archbishop, high religious authorities and other respected figures. In addition, serious errors were observed regarding faith, the authority of the Church and established discipline, which generated concern among believers. Given this situation, it was decided to consult prominent theorists and canonists to analyze the content of the pamphlet and its impact on the Catholic religion. These experts concluded that the pamphlet attacked dogma and questioned the authority of the Church, challenging its divine independence and promoting ideas that could lead to divisions and disobedience. Furthermore, it was noted that the pamphlet distorted biblical texts and departed from traditional Church teachings, promoting previously condemned doctrines.
