Resumen
The present work arises as a result of an investigation developed with ninth grade students of the Agustiniano Ciudad Salitre School, where the understandings of phenomena where gaseous substances intervene when interacting with HCC were identified. This study addresses its methodological design from the interpretive paradigm, of a constructivist nature, based on a module of activities (Development of 4 HCC, implementation questionnaire, construction of concept maps after the expert talk and an experimental practice) validated by experts from the INVESTUD-CN research group. The results were systematized and analyzed with the MAXQDA® software, from the pre-established categories from the literature review that supports this work. In each of the HCC it was possible to determine five (5) subcategories associated with the activities that favor understanding: Explain, exemplify, justify, contextualize and compare, finding within the analysis an emerging subcategory: Interpret. The relationships between the subcategories: Pressure-volume, Temperature-Volume and Pressure-temperature, were linked within the understandings made by the students, showing that the contribution of the HCC is significant to the teaching-learning process of natural sciences.
