Central theme: The importance of recognizing and valuing the indigenous peoples of Colombia, especially through the voice of an indigenous leader like Gabriel Mujuy. Main content: Presentation by Gabriel Mujuy: His career as an indigenous leader, human rights defender and politician is highlighted, as well as his academic training. Indigenous identity: Mujuy shares details about his people, the Inga, their history, worldview and fundamental principles (ama Yulia, ama Killa, ama Sua). Presidential reelection: A brief explanation is made about presidential reelection in Colombia and the laws that seek to guarantee equity in electoral processes. Evolution of the discourse on indigenous peoples: We reflect on the change of terms and the growing appreciation of indigenous cultures in Colombian society.
