| dc.description.abstract | This degree project analyzes the trajectory of the Changua Teatro corporation, a pioneer of science fiction theater in Colombia, to define how its exploration of concepts such as pataphysics, transhumanism, and posthumanism configures the figure of the actor as the central axis of stage representation; through the study of its dramaturgy, especially in plays such as: La Pataformosis, Operación Cazafantasmas, and its masterpiece: Test a Turing. The research identifies how the group uses a minimalist and "esperpentic" aesthetic to prioritize the performer's work over scenographic artifices. The analysis addresses the new performative demands that arise when representing fluid identities and non-human entities. It is argued that, far from displacing the actor, technology and futuristic themes reinforce their importance through the "convivio": the empathetic and unpredictable connection that only the living body of the actor can generate in the here and now of the theatrical event. Finally, this work culminates with the proposal and script for a documentary that compiles the conclusions of the research, celebrating the artistic resistance and future vision of Changua Teatro. | |
