Prototipo de Interfaz para Navegación Integrada de Repositorios de Recursos Digitales de Aprendizaje

Abstract

This project describe the development of a new interface for browsing of digital learning resources stored in an existing repository system is described. The new interface is supported on a standard that enables the conceptual navigation, description and organization of digital resources. The standard known as Topic Maps is part of the Semantic Web technologies that allow resources to give meaning to the Web. Reference to the drawbacks of traditional methods for search and navigation tasks of learning resources in the repository and how they are borne by the features offered by the Topic Maps is made, the Topic Maps are based on an ontology or is an knowledge representation, which must be developed and for this the methodology used to carry it. This interface provides results in a more natural way for the human user to browse the repository and to locate learning resources of interest, is expected to constitute a contribution and can be used in the development of institutional repositories in educational organizations.
