Resumen
Difficulties in document management, combined with technological and social barriers that restrict access to and use of information, as well as digital exclusion resulting from the lack of information technology resources for social integration in the digital space, pose a significant challenge for indigenous communities, including the Yaporox community of the Pijao ethnic group. These limitations hinder their ability to organise, preserve, and disseminate their cultural heritage, as well as to efficiently carry out their administrative tasks. This study presents a technological solution to these challenges through the development of the COMUNIDAD INDÍGENA YAPOROX - LUCHADORES information system, a web-based platform designed for the Yaporox indigenous community. The platform facilitates information management, news publication, and secure document storage. It is built on a client-server architecture and is fully deployed in the AWS cloud, leveraging Amazon tools such as IAM, Cognito, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch to ensure security, scalability, and efficiency in data and process management. The results obtained highlight the advantages of making information technology tools available to indigenous communities for managing information-related processes. These tools streamline administrative workflows and provide a secure digital environment to ensure data organisation and accessibility. Furthermore, the implementation of roles and permissions has enabled the system to map the community’s social structure into a set of user roles, facilitating the assignment of responsibilities and fostering a sense of ownership and engagement with the platform.
