Resumen
The program "Voices and Regions" is an initiative of the Ministry of the Interior of Colombia, specifically of the Directorate for Citizen Participation and Communal Action. In this episode, a review is made of the National Communal Games that were held in Manizales, highlighting the excellent organization and the satisfaction of the participants. Bogotá took first place in the games, followed by Cundinamarca, Boyacá and Caldas. In addition to medals and trophies, prizes were awarded in sports implementation to the winners. The importance of participation and the sense of belonging of the communes in these events is highlighted. Luis Alberto Cardona, communard councilor, explains the election process and the functions of the councilors, as well as the importance of the association of councilors in Manizales. Participatory budget projects and the disabilities that councilors face are also discussed. In addition, the celebration of the week of non-violence against women and the activities scheduled at the headquarters of the Community Action Board of the Las Delicias neighborhood are mentioned. John Jairo Montoya presents a report on the situation of a disabled woman who faces difficulties in receiving adequate medical care. Finally, a call is made to the responsibility of parents to prevent burns in children during the Christmas season, highlighting the importance of self-care and reporting the illegal sale of gunpowder.
