Abstract

The image contains news about the visit procedure carried out in the Treasury Administration of Bogotá on April 27, 1859. Given complaints of possible irregularities committed by Administrator Carlos Coronado, the Government, together with judges from the Court of Accounts and the Secretary of the Treasury, carried out a thorough inspection. The books and receipts were carefully examined, and the cash stock was checked, revealing a small deficit which was attributed to a counting error. In addition, funds pending collection were identified and clear instructions were issued to improve debt administration and collection.
