Resumen
New nature seeks in the imaginary of the dead animal within art, in postmodern art and the immediately contemporary, the use of taxidermy as sculpture, as a plastic methodology that presents the dead body of the animal as a work within an exhibition space. Under concepts crossed by the environment, the post-natural era and death take shape with materialities typical of the taxidermy industry and the real animal, confronting us with the fractured image of a dark, numerable, classifiable and saleable natural world. These failed creatures, which have been used as a response to an anthropocentric concern, are presented as an assembled apparatus of a Deleuzian becoming terribly close to ourselves. These representations of the animal are the reflection of a dark ecology in the face of the non-human world, they are the dissolution of the flesh in a body that has been stolen from death, monstrously similar to nature itself.
