Abstract

The image contains a news item about Decree Number 424 of 1901 in which a Salt Warehouse is established, under stipulations of the Vice President of the Republic, in charge of the Executive Power, this Decree arises due to the increase in the articles of first necessity for consumption, therefore a Salt Warehouse is established for the time that the Government deems convenient in the city of Bogota in charge of a Storekeeper appointed by the Government, said Warehouse will have three or more branches located in the places that the Ministry of Finance designates. Additionally, the responsibility of the Warehouseman and the role of the main Administrator of the Cundinamarca Salt Mines are stipulated. Finally, it is mentioned the celebration of contracts for the lease of premises, purchase of furniture and tools for the proper administration of the Warehouse according to the approval of the Government.
