We present an aesthetic interpretation of the engravings in the series The Delirium of the Dead Nuns by Juan Antonio Roda. From the triple continuity of time, space and the erotic we show how the work constitutes a block of sensation. The research took into account, firstly, the direct observation of the final prints of the series, besides proofs and reproductions from several books and exhibition catalogs; then, several written sources (including almost everything written about Roda in various media). From this body of documentation, we find those critical positions that determined for many years the gaze given to the artist's work and allowed us to approach it as a thing that feels
