Resumen
The illicit exploitation of gold mining deposits is a problem that has social, economic and environmental consequences. This activity generates illicit use that converges with other illegal economies that use armed groups as sources of financing for their activities, generating socioeconomic impacts on various sources in the country. The Colombian National Army faces this scourge through its intelligence division: CENTRO INTEGRADO DE INFORMACIÓN DE INFORMACIÓN MILITAR ESTRATÉGICO (CI3ME) of the CAIMI, which, fulfilling functions of identifying the main criminal phenomena in the country, has the support of the Brigade Against Illegal Mining (BRIMI), where the facts against this type of illegal mining are identified, facts that will be recorded through a survey created thanks to the Survey123 for ArcGIS software and will be visualized through a Dashboard that will allow the monitoring of condensed geographic information in events or activities. In addition, it makes a forecast based on these data that will indicate the municipalities that may be at risk of presenting illicit gold mining through a neural network programmed for this purpose, thus providing two important geospatial analysis tools to the National Army on which make decisions and adopt policies that allow the control of this illegal activity.
