Resumen
The image contains news about a report, addressed to the president of the administrative board of the Western Way, detailing the current poor state of the road from Puente Aranda to Puente del Corzo. Ruts, holes and large stones are described that make traffic difficult and damage vehicles and animals. In winter, these problems are exacerbated by mudflats. The quality of the gravel used is variable and, in many cases, inadequate to withstand traffic and rain. A detailed solution is proposed to improve the road, including the use of high quality gravel and its proper compaction. An estimated cost of 100,000 pesos for the complete renovation. In addition, the urgent need to repair two dangerous holes in the sewers near Puente Grande to avoid accidents is highlighted. News published in Cundinamarques No. 210 of May 12, 1866
