The image contains a news about: Today we will give an account of two functions, the one of ears, because we did not witness it, and it was that of the 6th of the current August, and the other of eyes and ears, that of the 7th, to which we attended. We are assured that in the first, the Company exaggerated the caricature of the main piece, which was Enrique Zumel's Reins of Government. The second performance, which consisted of the comedy The Honor of a Woman, in three acts and in verse, by Mr. Mozo de Rozales, with the addition of the comedy in one act The Four Corners, left the audience exceedingly pleased. La imagen contiene una noticia acerca de: Daremos hoy cuenta de dos funciones, la una de oidas, pues no la presenciámos, y fué la del 6 del corriente Agosto, y la otra de ojos y oidos, la del 7, á la cual concurrímos. Se nos asegura que en la primera, la Compañía exageró la intencion caricaturesca de la pieza principal, que fué Las riendas del gobierno, de Enrique Zumel. La segunda funcion, que consistió en la comedia El honor de una mujer, en tres actos y en verso, por el señor Mozo de Rozales, con la adicion de la comedia en un acto Las cuatro esquinas, dejó al público sobremanera complacido.
