Resumen
“Guillermo's Journey” is a thesis and creation-research project in which Manuel Alberto González Pamo explores the construction of the campesino character Guillermo in the play Hablando de Espantos, integrating his life experience, his training at the Faculty of Arts ASAB, and a deep reflection on art as a tool for social transformation. Through the use of masks, sainete (a traditional comedic genre), and vocal exploration, the author builds a bridge between his personal story—rooted in territories such as Natagaima and La Mariposa—and the technical and creative process of acting. This theatrical journey not only represents the achievement of shaping an endearing character but also a commitment to a kind of theater that honors memory, cultural identity, and the silenced voices of the Colombian context.
