Resumen
In this section of Voces y Regiones, community and youth leaders from Córdoba discuss the main challenges and opportunities for social, cultural, and economic development in their territories. The founder of the Oriana Corporation highlights her work in training and empowering women leaders, promoting their economic independence and active participation in society. Likewise, a representative from Poder Mestizo explains how the organization manages cultural projects and channels resources for artistic and community development, emphasizing the importance of inclusive festivals to strengthen cultural diversity.
Meanwhile, youth leaders from Canalete, Córdoba, address the difficulties young people face in the municipality, particularly regarding employment and access to technical and professional education. Through the Municipal Council, they work to present concerns and proposals to the local government, aiming to develop projects that drive local progress. They also stress the need to improve road infrastructure to enhance connectivity with Montería, a key factor for economic growth. Furthermore, they highlight that active youth participation in decision-making is crucial for creating cultural opportunities and strengthening youth leadership in the region.
These initiatives reflect the commitment of various sectors to finding solutions that promote equal opportunities, access to education, and the development of a more inclusive and dynamic community.
