Resumen
client calls During the last few years I have had several unknowns regarding the cases of extralegal executions that were carried out for almost twenty years by the Colombian armed forces. Of these unknowns, the phenomenon of false positives has caught my attention, which took place between 2002 and 2008 throughout the country and which have not ceased to be a scandal, in political matters. The latter, as well as thinking about the memory of the victims, motivated me to write this book. Especially when the construction of truth that has been advanced in Colombia thanks to the peace processes since 2016 allows opening doors to reparation, truth and some justice for the victims who little by little are managing to discover what happened. their relatives forcibly disappeared during these years. The false promises of improvement in the quality of life by public officials to the direct victims, were the start and one of the reasons for the systematic murders that were carried out by said officials of the armed forces, the victims, people of scarce resources, they paid with their lives for their ingenuity and the hope of an improvement in their quality of life. I thought many times about how necessary truth and justice are for the construction of the country, as well as questioning the actions of all the parties participating in the war. To carry out this, an investigation between interviews, documentary studies, journalistic information, and historical archive are essential. From all this, this product, a novel, resulted. However, it is worth mentioning that the responsibility for all the massacres, murders, disappearances, displacements falls on the shoulders of all of us, given our passivity and indifference for not being one of those directly affected by the war. In this novel there will be several stories based on the testimonies of victims and perpetrators, these stories reconstructed from fiction have the purpose of narration to bring the reader closer to what happens in war. All the stories of forgetfulness, abandonment, death, reunion, love, hate, forgiveness and reconciliation that are in the novel are things that allow us to see situations that victims and perpetrators went through and still go through in times of the conflict, and that many are still living or reliving as the investigations of judicial bodies for the solution of the Colombian armed conflict progress. To all of the above, for the 6042 victims of false positives, as a positive point, I give the reader an exercise in memory, a contribution that is expected to contribute to the construction and reconstruction of a better country.
