Resumen
The project "Strategy to Strengthen the Development of Competencies and Skills in the Area of Electronics at the San Isidro Sur Oriente IED School" seeks to address current challenges in electronic education in Colombia, with a particular focus on the integration of technologies such as robotics and computer science in basic and secondary education. The main problem identified is the lack of equitable access to educational technologies, as well as poor career guidance and a lack of teacher training in the use of these technologies. The overall objective of the project is to promote the improvement of educational quality in the field of electronics by implementing an educational program at San Isidro School in Bogotá, D.C., that includes teaching electronics and robotics at the elementary and secondary levels through the creation of prototypes such as robotic arms, drones, line-following sprinters, mice, juicers, and bipeds. The proposed solution includes the creation of interest groups and clubs in collaboration with university students to foster youth interest in technology and engineering careers. This strategy is carried out outside of school hours. The expected results of this project include improved academic performance among students in areas related to electronics and robotics, as well as increased interest in university programs in these fields. In addition, the project will provide recommendations for improving teacher training and career guidance. This project will be carried out over a four-month period in Bogotá, D.C., at a total cost of $17,691,376. The expected impact includes greater equity in access to technological education and a boost to the development of technical skills in students.
