Apoyo en la ejecución de actividades correspondientes al componente de Eco-Eficiencia del sistema de gestión ambiental (SGA) de concretos Argos S.A.

Abstract

The main objective of the internship was to support the execution of activities corresponding to the Eco-Efficiency Component of the Environmental Management System (EMS) of Concretos Argos S.A. The activities carried out included the updating of the legal matrix of each plant in the Amatia software, which included creating activities to demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations and this evidence was made through environmental visits to the plants and documentary control; The monitoring of the efficiency of each concrete plant considering the production of concrete in comparison with the consumption of water and energy; the creation of monthly environmental performance reports based on the GRI report indicators database; and as an additional task, training was given to new Argo's staff and contractors about the company's Environmental Policy, waste separation, and emergency response, as a method to improve the efficiency of the plants and guarantee the accomplishment of the established goals. These activities facilitated compliance with the company's standards and goals, ensuring that its environmental management continues to be executed correctly; and therefore, the objectives of the internship were achieved.
