Resumen
The image contains news about Circular number 9 issued by the Executive Branch of the United States of Colombia on June 30, 1885, from the Secretary of State in the Treasury Office. This circular responds to the serious national monetary crisis, promulgating decree number 260 to issue silver coins with a grade of 500 thousandths and fleece coins. The objective is to ensure its acceptance in the Treasury offices and in transactions between individuals, seeking to avoid the export of currency that aggravates the financial situation. The need for cooperation between the central and regional governments is highlighted to facilitate the circulation of these currencies and thus contribute to the economic stability of the country.
