In this communication, the Executive Branch clarifies that it does not recognize political leaders as national employees, given that the cantonal entities that gave them such status were eliminated with the implementation of the current Constitution. According to the resolution, political leaders who still exist under the provincial constitutions must be considered municipal officials, stripped of the duties and powers they previously held as national officials.
