Resumen
Hernández's research project "Reconstructions" explores the search for a personal plastic reality after five years of academic development, focusing on the concept of the 'trace' as a link between matter, space, and objects to understand reality and human consciousness. The research addresses the trace as both image and idea, analyzing the relationships between its components to resignify artistic concepts. It examines connections such as the image-idea relationship, being and reality, and matter, space, and object, seeking the meaning of their connections. The project redefines key concepts, endowing matter, objects, and space with new meanings as traces that reveal the relationship between being and reality, enabling awareness.
The proposal concludes that earth, as a building material, transforms into a trace, becoming a central element in reconstruction and resignification, contributing new connotations to the artwork. The text, beyond being a mere record, invites reflection and open interpretation of the images produced. It is divided into three parts: the study of the trace as an element that enables the being to reflect on their environment, a journey through the guidelines that determined the plastic conclusion, and an analysis of how practical and theoretical activity constructs a personal definition of the concept of Art.
