Reflexiones en torno a la muerte

Abstract

When we talk about death, it is usually perceived as an event in which a being ceases to be on the earthly plane and the environment around the absence of it becomes pain, sadness and melancholy. However, I began to perceive that death is something that not only the dead live but on the contrary we live it Ixs live at a certain time or in a long time and that on the contrary instead of trying to live and feel it tries to avoid (from my experience as a person who has been born in a country linked to Western beliefs). But why not try to understand how death works by engaging in a direct conversation with or around it? Understanding how the dynamics that develop around these reflections work. That is why this project is born from close experiences around death which are shared through dialogues that allowed a variety of reflections both individual and collective around what must be considered that death is and how this event is lived, giving as a final result the altar as the means for the development of these; thus giving a broader overview of what corresponds to the theme through an interactive installation in which the viewer can participate through the visual and the sound.
