Resumen
This work aims to propose a plastic interpretation, presented through a series of postcards about the childhood of five Colombian serial killers. This project began to be developed around the book Los Monstruos en Colombia sí Existen by the Colombian anthropologist Esteban Cruz Niño, in which the story is told, from childhood to the capture of several Colombian murderers, the most important according to the anthropologist were: Pedro Alfonso López, Daniel Camargo Barbosa, Luis Alfredo Garavito, Manuel Octavio Bermúdez and Nepomuceno Matallana, which I also chose for the creation of this project. The objective of the research process was to propose through a plastic interpretation what the childhood and youth of these five serial killers could have been, to create a narrative based on reality, but shown through a fiction, which would allow me to demonstrate a different perspective than that shown in the news and other media about these characters. Likewise, thanks to the theoretical material consulted, such as the criminology analyzes, and data from forensic psychologists and journalists, it allowed me to know some of the most traumatic moments in the childhood of the murderers, to then put them on paper. The plastic proposal includes the presentation of postcards, in which three moments of the childhood of the 5 aforementioned murderers are recreated. These postcards are organized by 3 per murderer, for a total of 15 images. It is intended to send a package with the 15 postal images to each jury professor; likewise, the sample of all the work done will be uploaded to a Drive folder.
