Acuerdo No. 19 de 1897

Abstract

The image contains a notice about Agreement Number 19 of 1897 by which a license is granted to give bullfights, dictated by the Municipal Council of Bogota, in such a way that the contract celebrated between the Municipal Personero and Mr. Carlos José Espinosa about license to give bullfights in the city is approved in all its parts. Additionally, it is mentioned that Mr. Espinosa is granted a license for a term of ten years counted from the date of approval to give bullfights in the wooden Circus owned by him and the value to be paid is defined together with the obligations to maintain the Circus in good condition of service, committing himself in the same way to not sell tickets to the Circus for more than six thousand spectators. Finally, it is stipulated that Mr. Espinosa will be able to give in his Circus any type of public show and his license may be revoked and given to any other establishment in better conditions.
