Abstract

The radio program presents a conversation with Luis Ángel Moreno, Secretary of Social Integration of the Department of Chocó, who explains the progress and challenges of his secretariat. They talk about programs to benefit the disabled population, early childhood, and the employment and education situation in the department. It highlights the importance of characterization of the disabled population, the creation of a disability committee, and work towards the labor and educational inclusion of these people. In addition, issues regarding food security and infant mortality are addressed, especially in rural areas, where public policies are being implemented focused on improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable, especially the disabled population of the department.
