Resumen
The Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies of Colombia (IDEAM), together with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADS), have seen the need to carry out management actions to maintain water conditions, This is why a series of objectives, strategies, goals and strategic actions have been proposed in the framework of the National Policy for Integrated Management of Water Resources (PNGIRH), among Which are "Developing knowledge and resource research and strengthening a multipurpose water information system, integrated into the Environmental Information System." Said system is nowadays the Water Resource Information System (SIRH), which has been designed to facilitate the systematization and articulation of information associated with the water that is generated By the IDEAM, the Environmental Authorities and other sectors, and thus contribute to the knowledge of national water availability and demand. The consolidation process of the Colombian Environmental Information System (SIAC) contemplates the reactivation of efforts to articulate information given the importance of the right of access to public information, And taking into account that it has been proposed to advance an interoperability strategy, it is necessary the software architecture design that allows the integration of subsystems. In order to strengthen the SIAC technology platform and information services, the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) study will be considered for the implementation of the de fi ned service-oriented architecture as the most efficient strategy for To achieve an integration solution between the Water Resources Information System (SIRH) and the Colombian Environmental Information System (SIAC) to establish a tool that supports the management and an ' Analysis for decision-making concerning environmental priorities at the national and regional levels
