La presente imagen registra una noticia publicada el día 19 de febrero de 1890 por el periódico El Heraldo, en donde se da a conocer y se exalta la inauguration del Teatro municipal junto al observatorio. Obra que se da gracias al señor D. Francisco Zenardo, pues se encargó de solicitar el contrato para la construcción del teatro municipal.
