Abstract

It tells the story of a non-binary person named Ismael, who decides to abandon his family's Jewish cults to travel alone through the Canaan desert. Many of the stories are dreamlike fantasies in order to travel in time, where he goes through strong questions about his sexual and gender identity. This character discovers that he identifies with the counterculture of Vogue and Drag art. This leads him to investigate the Afro-descendant origin of these arts. Ismael manages to discover himself in another life as Ruda, a butch and lesbian woman, who also questions the phallocentrism of Bogotá transvestite spaces. Therefore, there is a lesbian-feminist approach in making visible how a woman assigned female at birth can move without reproducing machismo.
