| dc.description | The return to the body is one of the most important manifestations of critical and pluralistic contemporary artists who expose the importance of subjectivity against the excesses of the instrumental rationalism inherited from the detours and mistakes of modernity. It is from what is abject that attempts are made to contradict the postulates anchored in the value of reason, which degrade the image of the body when it is conceived as corrupt, contaminated and putrid, all the while exalting the soul as pure, clean and unpolluted. Trying to question this degraded vision of rationalism, current art retakes the body from an aesthetic formulation supported by experiential, expressive and sensitive elements, which allow to understand the reality of the world from other perspectives. | en-US |
| dc.description | El retorno al cuerpo es una de las manifestaciones más importantes de los artistas contemporáneos crítico-pluralistas, quienes ponen en evidencia la importancia de la subjetividad frente a los desbordes del racionalismo instrumental heredado de los desvíos y aporías de la modernidad. Es a partir de lo abyecto que se intenta contradecir los postulados anclados en el valor de la razón, los cuales degradaban la imagen del cuerpo al concebirlo como lo corrupto, contaminado y putrefacto, en tanto exaltaban las cualidades del alma como lo puro, limpio e incontaminado. Es por esto que el arte actual retoma el cuerpo en el intento de cuestionar esa visión degradada del racionalismo a partir de la formulación de una estética sustentada en lo vivencial, lo expresivo y lo sensible que permite comprender la realidad del mundo desde otras ópticas. | es-ES |
