Resumen
The research aims to define the possibilities offered by the vocal work for the creation of characters, providing the actor with concrete tools with respect to the vocal work so that he can make use of these in terms of the stage work. Vocal tools such as tone, timbre and resonators will be topics to develop throughout this document. The resonance as modified air and transformed into sound by the vocal cords, which is amplified and "embellished" by the resonance cavities before being released to the outside. The tone as one of the characteristics of the sound that is determined by the frequency of the sound wave. Higher frequency: high pitched tones; at a lower frequency: low tones. The timbre as the peculiar way of sound that the different voices and instruments have, in such a way that two sounds of equal height, equal intensity and equal duration, can be differentiated by the sound color of the voice of the person who sings or speaks or the instrument that touches it. "The viewer must not only hear the voice of the actor perfectly, but must feel penetrated by it as if it were stereophonic" (Grotowski, 1974)
