Resumen
The radio program "Voces y Regiones" presents an interview with Rodesindo Castro, an Afro-Colombian national authority from the Organization of Afro-Colombian Processes. The conversation addresses the organization of the Afro-Colombian National Movement and its participation in the assembly held in Quibdó, where crucial issues for black communities were debated, such as territorial rights, prior consultation with the State, and cultural identity. In addition, the difficulties faced by displaced Afro-Colombians in the cities and the challenges involved in returning to their territories, which are still marked by violence and the lack of government guarantees, are discussed. Efforts to guarantee the participation of Afro-Colombian communities in the DANE rural census are also mentioned.
