El deporte competitivo: de actuar

Abstract

For me, as an actress, was important to create and find a different way to do theater. “Act” in that constant creation is where the actor is all the time, but in many times we stick in old forms. For many actors, it is almost impossible to mutate either of genre, technique or style. We ignore new proposals or judge premeditated believing that we have or make the absolut truth. My relationship with sport has also been steady, close. I know, as an artist, that in many opportunities the power of sport is underestimated, not to mention football, believed that it shouldn’t be that popular, but for me there is a little apprehension to this sport. On the other hand, I have been able to share closely with football, I know that is not easy, it requires much training, dedication and effort. In short, preparation, like theater. This way I get to the point of my degree: could I create a theatrical game which is based on the rules of football? This is why I made an analysis of sports, football and its rules of procedure. It was also important to investigate the theatrical genres and decided that for this case, I would take as an example the Commedia dell´arte, for the creation of a new theatrical regulation which will become a game, that will contribute in the actors greater ownership in improvisation, decision, competence, determination and trust in word and body. I consider three phases to address the new theatrical game: exploration, learning and competition. But finally, the competition was selected because this work is directed to actors with training that have gone through the previous stages, and this phase would take advantage and seize better.
