Abstract

The National Federation of Coffee Growers of the hand of sectoral technical standards for handling and processing of coffee promoted by Cenicafé has been promoting programs of agricultural that become a paradigm in the transformation of traditional systems by establishing criteria to be taken into account to participate more effectively in the market. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the hand of the municipal councils and the sectional councils agricultural development create a way of seeing and understanding the integrated rural development of the country. The BPA and sectoral technical standards for the integrated management of coffee cultivation work in parallel with the aim of promoting sustainable agriculture by implementing strategic lines that advance continuous improvement of human development mainly in the rural areas and a production contributing efficient use of inputs and encouraging the implementation of new technologies reducing the negative effects of inadequate agricultural practices.
