Resumen
This document presents a methodology that allows estimating the geothermal heat flux (GHF) in the Llanos Orientales sedimentary basin classified as a low and / or medium enthalpy area, based on the digital processing of Landsat 8-OLI-TIRS satellite images, Using thermal infrared (TIRS) as the main input, with which products such as the earth's surface temperature (LST) and vegetation indices (NDVI) are obtained, which, related to digital elevation models, were implemented to obtain the ambient temperature of the area. of study and likewise, the calculation of the solar radiation of the area. Said climatological and topographic variables are of great importance since, when combined during processing, they eliminate errors in the images due to cloudiness or high solar incidence in the scene. The methodology allows to identify points with temperature anomalies that determine areas of potential geothermal exploitation, whose results obtained a high positive correlation with respect to the information obtained from the Colombian Geological Service (SGC).
