Resumen
The image contains news about the resolutions of the Government of the Province of Bogotá regarding the sale of liquor in bottles. The Government, recognizing that it does not have the power to establish weights and measures according to the Constitution, and to avoid harmful alterations to the income of spirits, compared bottles of different sizes and consulted with experts. It was resolved that the conventional measurement of a bottle, widely accepted in the markets, is a cylinder with an internal diameter of one decimeter and a height of 12 centimeters. This measure will remain in force for the purchase, sale, delivery and reception of liquor throughout the province, until the Supreme Government orders otherwise. News published in the Constitutional Court of Cundinamarca. January 15, 1843.
