Fundamentación de un modelo mediante la tecnología blockchain para el tratamiento de información en el área de vigilancia epidemiológica de la clínica Juan N. Corpas

Abstract

The medical history is a legal document of great importance within the medical work, thanks that with it, you can evaluate the health care services provided to the health patient, in turn, serves for decision making. Due to the importance of this document, mechanisms have been proposed in Colombia to unify the information, to improve the quality of patient care, it is there where the proposal to unify the information of medical histories, formulating a management model of information on blockchain technology, focusing on the information generated in the epidemiological surveillance area of ​​the Juan N. Corpas clinic. The research project is focused in the area of ​​epidemiology surveillance "health area public "due to the degree of importance that the data generated during this process, therefore the collection of these data and the estimation of indicators are intended generate in a systematic way, evidence to identify patterns and trends that help to undertake actions for the protection and promotion of health and prevention and control of disease in the population, if this information is not well managed, or if the entities that the competition can not consult it, it may not obtain the necessary mechanisms to generate an adequate treatment to prevent and act against a disease. Therefore, the present project focuses on the foundation of a model based on the blockchain technology, identifying its viability and versatility in the management of information from health entities, focusing on the storage process of information of the clinical histories of the epidemiological surveillance area of ​​the Juan N. Clinic Corpas. It is then defined in what way the clinical information of the patients in the area of epidemiological surveillance of the Juan N. Corpas clinic, defining the HL7 standard as proposal for the foundation and identifies the architectural layers of the current process, to identify the modifications that the foundation of the blockchain model proposes.
