Elaboración de un plan de mantenimiento basado en confiabilidad para el banco de pruebas de desempeño de bombas centrífugas

Abstract

The present degree work contemplates the proposal of a maintenance plan based on RCM in the company Flowserve Colombia SAS located in the municipality of Mosquera, where the failures presented in the performance test bench of centrifugal pumps were identified and analyzed in a period of 8 months. This analysis was the basis for the creation of a maintenance plan to monitor the parts of this, in order to guarantee the availability of the bench at the time of testing, generating reliability and increasing the useful life of the instruments. Initially, the instruments that are part of the centrifugal pump performance test bench were analyzed, a list of parts and elements that make up the process for carrying out each test was drawn up, a plant survey was carried out and existing failures were documented. Then, the operating parameters associated with each element of the test bench were defined, the failures presented and their consequences were analyzed, and finally a maintenance plan scheme based on reliability was designed for the bench testing process. Additionally, the use of indicators is proposed to measure the performance of the test bench through the maintenance area, making recommendations to improve the traceability of the failures presented in the process.
