Networking en pequeña empresa: una revisión bibliográfica utilizando la teoria de grafos

Para los pequeños empresarios es bien sabido la importancia que tienen sus relaciones sociales (networking), para alcanzar los diferentes objetivos empresariales. Sin embargo, aún no se ha definido las diferentes formas de aplicación del networking en la pequeña empresa. En este sentido, la literatura describe su importancia. Sin embargo, todavía no se ha realizado una revisión que defina las diferentes áreas de su aplicación. En este artículo se realiza una revisión bibliográfica utilizando conceptos de la teoría de grafos para identificar las diferentes perspectivas en que el pequeño empresario aplica networking. Los resultados mostraron que el networking puede ser aplicado en cuatro diferentes áreas: financiamiento, innovación, mercadeo e internacionalización. Al identificarlas, se pueden realizar investigaciones focalizadas para mejorar los procesos y lograr que la pequeña empresa sea más competitiva.
The importance of social relationship (networking) is well known for small entrepreneurs as the way to meet their different business objectives. However, the different ways of application of networking is not yet defined. In this sense, literature shows the importance of networking, but there is not reviews about the specific fields of applications. In this paper, a review is carried out using concepts from graph theory to identify the different perspectives in which the small business applies networking. The results showed that networking could be applied in four different areas like finance, innovation, marketing and internationalization. The identification of those areas helps to make targeted investigations in order to improve the marketing process in small companies and make them competitive.
