Desarrollo de una interfaz software basada en la norma IEC 62439-3 orientada a redes redundantes de comunicaciones para automatización de subestaciones eléctricas

Abstract

Communications networks in electrical substations require high availability systems, with minimum error rates that guarantee the integrity and speed of information with mechanisms for rapid failure response. Redundant communications networks and redundancy protocols such as PRP (Parallel Redundancy Protocol) arise from the need for such systems, guaranteeing the integrity of the information and offering an almost instantaneous fault response, with zero reconfiguration times. This document describes the stages of development and validation carried out for the design and implementation of a software interface oriented to redundant communications networks for automation of electrical substations focused on the parallel redundancy protocol PRP set out in IEC 62439-3.
