| dc.description | La imagen contiene una noticia acerca del Decreto de abril 17 en el que se forman distritos para los establecimientos de castigo, y se designan los lugares donde debe tenerse. Vistos los informes que en cumplimiento de la ley del 30 de mayo de 1838 han evacuado los gobernadores, cámaras de provincia y consejos municipales; y debiendo poner en ejecución la misma ley, será decretado. Art. 1º Habrá dos establecimientos de trabajos forzados, cinco de presidio, cinco de reclusión y veinte lugares de prisión. Art. 2° Los establecimientos de trabajos forzados existirán, el uno en las fortalezas de Chagres, y el otro en las de Cartagena. | dc.description.abstract | The image contains news about the Decree of April 17 in which districts are formed for punishment establishments, and the places where they must be held are designated. Considering the reports that in compliance with the law of May 30, 1838, the governors, provincial chambers and municipal councils have evacuated; and having to put the same law into execution, it will be decreed. Art. 1 There will be two forced labor establishments, five prison establishments, five confinement establishments and twenty prison places. Art. 2° Forced labor establishments will exist, one in the fortresses of Chagres, and the other in those of Cartagena.
